Sometimes a Dream Is Just a Dream

I don't understand why some people think that all dreams mean something. I'm sure that some of them do, but they all can't. I am of the personal belief that most dreams are just your subconsious's way of getting rid of the junk in our brains.

BH, on the other hand, thinks that every dream must mean something. Oh lord, if I thought that, I would never be able to sleep again after last night.

I had a dream that BH had an affair. In the dream I caught her in bed with another man, whom I did not know. She then told me she was leaving me for him. The bad part was that it was some yokel from the backwoods of Kentucky, and she was moving into his trailer with him. She was also leaving behind La Nina with me.

Now if I was believer that all dreams mean something, I would be tied up in knots. Fortunately, I don't. And besides, that would be completely out of character for her. She absolutely abhors anyone who would cheat.

To top it off I woke up at 5:00 because of this dream, and could not go back to sleep. This was after working until midnight last night. So today, I am dragging ass and tired.

Hopefully my dream will be peaceful tonight.
