The Weekend That Was

I survived the weekend. It was stressful with the In-Laws, but we had fun. We went to the zoo on Friday. I did not realize how big the zoo here is. It was my first time. Most of the zoos I have been to, you could pretty much go through them in about 2-3 hours. We got there at noon, and left at 5:00, and did not see everything. We were just too tired to keep going, and La Nina was past the point of no return.

The rest of the weekend went smoothly. We ate out a couple of times, but nothing fancy. All in all it was a nice quiet weekend.

I did go car shopping on Saturday. I will go back and work out some hard numbers with them this week. I was kind of surprised that there was no-one else out car shopping. Usually on Saturdays, the lots are hopping with activity and you may have wait to be helped. Not this time. We barely got out of the car when a "Product Specialist" was there shaking our hands and introducing themselves.

Of course they tried to get me to work out numbers that day, but I was just getting preliminary information. I have played this game to many times to get in deep into negotiations that soon. I want information and timing on my side.
